my 89 hatch givin me some problems so i took it in to have it checked out turns out, that i have a open circuit in plug # 3 and i have a leaking clutch matster/slave cylinder that needs to be replaced , also i have FOUR leaking injectors that need to be replaced.. ####

anyways all this is going to run me about 9.00 US..
now the engine has about 140K is it worth it to repair this engine? or should i just save and get a SR swap?? if i did get the swap would all these parts be changed out anyways? or would i have to keep them?

if i do want to repair it are there cheaper aftermarkers that are good quality i can use?..
they want me to buy OEM parts thats expensive.. they said that aftermarket injectors don spray the same pattern as OEM ...

so yea i need some suggestions./

I can't decide if I want to eat Kraft Mac n' Cheese or Homemade mac n' cheese. Which one should I have for dinner ?

haha. now that's a good quest ca18guy.

crx: if it only costs 9.00 to fix it, then that's not bad. but i don't know if you meant 900. i've heard python injectors are rebuilt factory injectors so maybe they'll spray the same pattern. if you can actually find someone to do the SR swap, and have the money maybe you should consider it.

now back to the serious question at hand. there r many things to consider when making such a big decision when u r a 240 enthusiasts. if i had to choose n decide what to do w/ this pondering situation, i'd have to say go w/ the kraft mac n' cheese. it's fast, easy, n cheesy. hope this helps.

yea i meant $900.00 aint that a bitch.. i think the SR swap is going to end up costing too much , 900 is keep the stock engine running for another year till i get my trueno running sounds about right.. but i just need cheaper parts now, the price they are charging me for is $134.00 per injector w/ rings etc and all of it installed is around $640.00
