Hey, I'm new here..please dont make me feel unwelcome:(..lol...kay..um i just got my 240 for a car to work on in myy garage, im only 15 and wanna supe the SHAT outta it! i live in toronto ontario and just want to know two things. 1. should i either get a veilside or nismo body kit?
2. where can i get one!!!??

im with DRFT but it all depends on how he wants to fix it up. Go for show or dorifto track monkey? You need to have a basis on where you want to start the build up from. Then from there the decisions will be easier.

try picking up some Wendy's, their value meal is far better..good money for the cost...

but if u really want some good fast food, u can always rely on In n Out...u can get custom hamburgers, just like custom spring rates, have your meat stretched, and eat what u like because its your choice

Agreed. haha. But yea, just like DRFT said, learn to control it first, get use to it. I know that once/if I get my hands on a 180sx, I'm going to atleast try to learn about the car while driving for about 3wks or so, then I'll start adding mods.

or if you dont plan on driving your car, in autocross, or drift. And you just want to show off....then I think you may be at the wrong forum...

i think you should just for now learn how to drive, get real good! on stock stuff! and do research on this forum and basically just visit it every day and learn....then do your upgrades....dont get ahead of yourself.

oh ya and look in the links section... and go to some of those sites. so you have an idea of what to expect, dont get too distracted by all the fancy smancy body kits. And its always a good idea to post on here if your gonna buy something, you never know some one may have or know of a better deal, or warn you about the product or not but its a very smart thing to do. dont be shy on this forum

Dam you seem hella immature, just a suggestion read up about your dam car before you actually do anything to it. And if you "wanna supe the SHAT outta it!" I suggest you get rid of the 240 and go get a civic (seems to suit you better).

I agree 100% with what Red says, before you go body kitting your 240 out, do something to make it faster or perform better.

I would think supeing it up would involve engine mods myself, not making it a showcar or something....oh well...thats just my opinion. And maybe you should check out no motiv's priority listing, I personally like it. haha

No Motiv, I would've never thought about reading up on it, if it wasn't for you mentioning it. Because when I first bought an 89 prelude, I didn't read up on it, and sadly listened to my friend(uncertified mechanic) who told me that there was nothing wrong with the car, so I took it to an actual certified mechanic and he told me that the tranny wouldn't last me a year. Though after reading some of the threads around here, I"m actually gaining more knowledge about the Silvia's. Though my target is the 180sx.
