I would love to replace my ghetto looking climate control and replace it with the JDM version. Can this be done?

I would too - but it is apparently very difficult. I know some have tried, but I've yet to hear any succeed. I know the wiring is a biatch and that it basically won't work with the KA harness without MANY changes. Maybe if you had the whole clip you could get all the sensors and plugs - otherwise, I'd advice against it.

Allow me to answer this question. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>
The earlier GLE altimas did come with digital climate control...In short, its a pain in the ass to convert from manual to digital even in altimas. There's quite a few sensors and wires that needs to be fabricated...so its really more trouble than its reall worth. I think they go for around 100 bucks. peace
fellow socal list member converted his S13 with no problems, but then again he had a FRONT CLIP.

So, if you dont have front clip, then you cant play. if you DO, then its plug and play! <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
