As part of our sponsorship launch to Zilvia we wanted to extend a couple of group buys for items we have been seeing some interest on. The first of these two is around the launch of the new Garrett GTX2867r turbocharger!!

This new turbo was debuted at SEMA last year and has stirred quite the buzz in the tuner community. With the power potential of the GT2871r and even better spool characteristics, it has gained the attention of many builders.

We have done some negotiations with our distributors to set up this group buy to extend to all of you. We are looking for a minimum of 10 purchases (no limit) and also have this on one other site.


Please keep in mind Garrett prices are for the turbocharger. You will need to purchase a housing to go with this (if you don’t already have one that fits the turbo). The most popular for the new GTX2867r would be the Garrett .64 A/R housing. Other options are the TiAl T25/28 V-band and then various other A/R options depending on your performance / power band preference. We are discounting the housings as well to try to save the Zilvia community as much as possible.

While this particular group buy was to help push the launch of the GTX2867r, ALL Garrett turbos are eligible!! Now is the time for more boost!!!!


The turbos will go out on a first paid, first shipped order (once the minimum of 10 buyers has been reached). Endurance Motorsports will foot the shipping bill so the price you are quoted is all there is to it (KY residents will have to pay sales tax, however).

deff interested in this...however i want the full turbo components not just the compressor...or half ass other parts...i want the whole turbo...how much...and a lil more info as far as boost and how much hp it can support...want somehting with fast boost response but able to hit high hp numbers in the 400 range if possible

Dori, this is still a really new turbo. There is information on the ATP site (here (http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=GRT-TBO-187&Category_Code=GTX)). It has the most I've seen thus far. There is also a good write-up so far on this site by someone that already picked one up.

It uses the same housing as the GT2871r which uses the T25 / T28 flange.

In regards to w/gated, do you mean external wastegate? There is an ATP housing we could get you with an external housing

If anyone is looking for a GT2871r, we have 2 at our distributor that we can let go for $1,275 per turbo, shipped. This is the turbo with the .64 A/R housing and internal wastegate. This is a bolt and go for an SR20 motor!!! (we obviously recommend upgrading your fuel pump, injectors, and retuning but it bolts up in stock location to the stock manifold!!)

Garrett's posted build time is 4-8 weeks but I believe the first 2867r is due in any time so the 4-8 is a safe estimate.
