Here's a link with alot of good info.
In-Depth KA-T safc settings - S-Chassis.com (http://www.s-chassis.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43007)
I really think you should invest in a tune though! (rsenthalpy is great!) Those are all great parts for excellent power but without a good tune they can do more harm than good. Do you have a wideband? Without one you wont be able to tune at all. If you just plug some numbers into the safc without knowing your afr you could blow all that money youve spent in one pull.

this is EXACTLY why the safc's have such a bad wrap. it's meant to fine tune and make small corrections on stock motors/MINOR bolt ons. not "tune" a car and certainly not to control 740cc injectors on a stock turbo.

^ he's absolute right you'll be able to adjust some but the amount of adjustment for 750s is to much. I use the neo on mine but its only, like he said to fine tune. Safc cannot adjust timing and thats a major necessity

You do know the largest it can control is 50% over the stock injectors? Meaning, with stock 370s, most it can control is 550cc. You'd need to get a rom tune and then use the SAFC to fine tune it yourself since most mail order tunes are rich.

Put it in the bin ! Best gift you could offer to your engine, seconded only by "have it mapped correctly".
BTW S14 and S15 turbos are the same, bigger injectors dont give more horsepower, and if you had 740cc with oem mapping, you would just be flooding your engine and not starting it; so you dont have 740cc injectors, or you have not installed them yet, or you have an enormous boost leak.
My pleasure.

mine (gt2871r) s14 SR, 750cc, was tuned with the safc and works well and the results are the same

Heat and det kills engine, not AFRs... lean AFR creates heats and ideal conditions for det though. So does bad timing, and you cant adjust timing with an SAFC. You also cant adjust injector latency.
Yet you claim your engine "works well" and does 330whp. What you mean by "works well" translate into "i have not melted a piston yet". How can you tell it is working well ? Got any EGT and knock sensor ?
But then you say it is running 330whp ? So you have enough money to get it dynoed, but not to get it mapped ? Seriously, what is wrong with you ?

How do you even get a SAFC to control 750cc injectors without a rome tune???

You really can't flip and blackzenki on here learned the hard way a few months back, despite everyone telling him he can't run it that way. Your motor is a ticking time bomb when you run an SAFC without a proper tune. It's not a matter of how, just a matter of when, because it will go. Most of the time sooner than later.
