So I'm trying to find the perfect wheels for my project, but I'm really picky. I don't just want a set of Battles or XXRs like everyone else on the scene. I'm looking for something a bit different. I'm a big fan of the Grenade GX-01s. I love the factory R33 Skyline wheels. Even though they're funky looking, the Volk C-Ultras are kinda cool as well. I'm trying not to spend more than 600-700 on a set, but ideally it'd be nice to only spend about 400-550. So if you think you have a set of 17" 5x114.3 wheels that are cool enough for my car, please post them up on this thread. I'm anxious to see what you guys have for me.

Just a FYI, Battles are just the new Grenades.

Right. I'm not saying Battles wouldn't be nice. They're great wheels, but it feels like everybody and their mother has/wants them. I just want something a little different for my car. Even if Grenades were just as popular a while ago, they're harder to come by now. So that's why I'd prefer Grenades over Battles.

I have http://zilvia.net/f/wheels-tires/432463-drag-dr-31-17x9-5-17-5x114-3-5x100-set-4-a.html , they are not the most unique wheels but theyre definitely not on every car out there like the ones you mentioned. I think they look great. And you could always paint them a unique color.

Thanks for the post. I'd take you up on the offer, but a lot of my buddies haven't had great luck with drag wheels. They all say that they look great, but aren't super reliable when it comes to heavy driving. This is going to be my track car, so I'm gonna keep looking. Still, thank you for posting.

I understand, I am pretty nervous about replica cheap wheels too, these wheels seem pretty decent actually. I havent tracked them but I am sure they would hold up like any other replica wheel.
Even BBS wheels crack and bend at the track, it just depends on conditions and luck.
Now the problem is, wanting above average wheels with an average budget. Thats where I am stuck at :D
Hopefully you will find something that works for you, good luck sir.
