Need a clutch that will hold >600lbs of tq

So my clutch crapped out on me yet again, looking for a twin disc under 1700.00 need it to be able to hold over 600lbs of tq and has to be for a z32 tranny application. What experiences do you guys have?

also found this spec clutch which is like their most almighty form.

there were two other trims of it that were a little weaker for about a 100 less. this one is listed at 1349.

i called them, they said up to 600lb of tq, thats too little thanks though.

Under $1700 you're going to be hard pressed to find what you're looking for. Most twin disc clutches are rated for peak trq around 600. Start looking into triple disc clutches and/or carbon/carbon clutches. RPS has a few, Exedy does as well. You're going to be well above what you are looking to spend though...

Southbend DXD is pretty cheap. They have high torque applications. Good customer service as well. But yes, triple disc or carbon/kevlar is what you're going to have to go with here.

i have a stage 5 sprung comp clutch and I should be pushing 500tq we have a honda on one with over 600hp and functions just fine. never misses a lick check with lightning motorsports and tell them kyle sent you speak with micah

600hp in a Honda is no more than 450ft/lbs of trq. No clutch should be rated by HP...

i have a brandnew 350z nismo tomie twin disc ill let go for 1700 shipped, probably gonna have to redrill your flywheel to accept it tho, but its not much work
