Hi everyone i am new to zilvia.net and i know this thread has probaly been discussed before but i cant find a solution to my heating issue, i checked the engine this morning and i saw fluid on the head right above the water pump where the gasket goes? does this mean i have a Blown HG?? i still dont see any smoke and oil and coolant look regular? i also checked my radiator and my coolant is gone
things done:
new water pump
2 thermostats
bleed/burped many times
new radiator

Is there white smoke coming out of your exhaust?
does your oil look like chocolate milk, and is it over filled?
do you have un-even cylinder pressure. (135 / 135 / 50 / 65 )
if you have a headgasket leak, those are three dead give-aways.
you might have something like a leaky hose, or a radiator cap could be plugged.. I had an issue where my aluminum radiator corroded inside, and clogged the overflow nipple, causing my system to pressurize much more than it is supposed to. it blew every single heater hose on the car.
When you say you seen coolant on the head above the waterpump, if you have a leaking hose, the fan blows the coolant TOWARDS the engine, so a leak may look like coolant is coming from the head...
that area you are talking about is the timing cover right? (front of the engine, directly beneath the valve cover) ... no coolant flows in / through that area...

get to your local parts store, and do a coolant pressure test... that will find where your leak is.

Did you use the rubber gasket on your water pump? Also did you use liquid gasket on it too? If you did it the liquid gasket probably did set before you started the car, you might want to also make sure you tightened the water pump, if not pull out the water pump and do it again.

Go get a regular gasket for the water pump. If it still leaks
1. Check by the intake manifold. There are coolant hoses that are in the space between the runners and plenum.
2. Near the back of the manifold, a coolant hose runs to the heater (heater core?)

Is there a heating issue?
Or is it just a small water leak you wanna track down?

this.... i feel like this wasn't emphasized enough.
go get one from any auto parts store. rent it. when you rent tools you give them a deposit, when you give it back. you get all of your money back.
use the thing. and if your leaking fluid like you say you are, you will see and hear the leak. its easy and takes five seconds. just be sure not to over pressurize your system.
this is the easiest way to figure out what's wrong.
also, if you are losing coolant, don't fill it up with anti freeze when doing the test, just use water cause if you have an issue, your just gonna drain all of your fluid out anyways.

Pressure test the system and see where the leak is coming from, pray that it is not the head gasket.
That is what happened to me, with none of the smoking/mixed fluids/fuxed engine; only overheating and fluid loss and it was the head gasket.
Don't gamble

i need to do the compression test.. oil and coolant look regular and yea its right above the water pump, so if i dont get those numbers from my compression test then its a HG? or somewhere close to those #s?

No, skip the circle jerk and props-giving, get back to answering your question
Pressure test the cooling system, let me Google that for you (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=cooling+system+pressure+test).

Update:
Ok guys my car does not indicate that its heating up like before arrow slightly goes up then drops bt it only does it once as im driving doesnt do it again... My coolant reservoir still bubbles and overflows... My lower hose is still cool and when i shut off the car it gets hot as if the t-stat only opens whens the car is off?!?!?
