T28 help!

hi, just bought a gt28 and received it today. the owner said it was working properly but when i checked it out there were metal shards in the oil feed. the wheel spins good and there was a slight damage on 2 of the fins. so do you guys think that the turbo is bad? and how would you guys go about cleaning out the metal shards in the oil feed?? thanks

you should change the wheel. as for the metal on the oil is it dust on the oil, or a chunk of metal?

pics of the damage on the wheel? i've repaired damaged compressor blades before (we do it all the time in aviation) and I haven't had issues yet with any turbos.

the damage on the fins arent too great. just a little bend and very little chips. here are some pics and sorry about the bad quality
