did he run his hotpipe directly into the intake mani ? why wouldn't you run it through a FMIC ? newer disel's run them fine as well as it would take that pipe off the top giving you more hoos clearance.

Diesel isn't as sensitive to high IAT as gasoline. So it's not all that necessary.

What I find amusing is the fact that this motor has been swapped into Grand Nationals and other cars, yet no one makes the comment, "only in that state." You act like Florida has a bunch of retards running around, yet you need only to look in your own backyard for the same shit. Florida has some unique and fast cars. Just because it's not to your liking doesn't mean it's wrong or some hack threw it together. There has to be some decent amount of research done before something like this is pulled off. I've always wanted to put a diesel in a s-chassis... Specifically either a 4bt, 6bt, or a TDI of some sort.

I think this swap was done half decently. Probably better than most on this board could do themselves. The green paint and the exhaust are really the only things that make this thing look "hacked".

Give that car to a skilled fabricator and it would look really well done.

Plus what's not love about having 3x the stock KA torque from idle onward?

i would disagree, a 4BT alone is a 3-4k+ motor (and i would say this motor is on the upper side of this, only having 150k on the motor.

and most will laugh at this statement, but considering the "rarity" or "one off" of this car/motor combo most would be playing that card with a higher price.

well im a pe-roud floridian and because no a/c was installed the windshield would fog up in the morning. even though it was a vert :) also if he lived in the north it would get snowed on so we just installed a heater instead of having the a/c heater in there. we is smart and nothing we make ever goes brokeded. i'd talk like dat if i was from sout carolinnnaa. well anyway i dont see how anyone is hating on this when its better than what you have. lol :)

that is true, it does take a whole new level in swapping some thing in a s chassy, ive seen a friggen viper motor in a old Z before. The idea is good dont get me wrong but its just one of those random ass ways of swapping something

Personally I love a car with no handling balance, a windshield I can't see out of, a shifter that I have to cut my whole dash out for, is generally slow, and has the exhaust piped directly into the cabin.
