I want to get all new couplers for my KA-T, but I cant seem to find ones that I want. I rebuilt my whole motor, and Im doing everything black. IC piping, hoses, couplers, etc... all black.. I have looked at HPS, Mishimoto, Turbosmart, Vortex, and one or two more... Problem is, I cant find all the ones I need from the same place. Some have the sizes I need, but not in black, some have all black couplers, but not the size I need. I dont want to peice together my couplers from 4 different companies.. So I was wondering If anyone knew of a good company.. Im shooting for 550-600hp, so I need a good, quality part. Not cheap ebay or autozone shit.. Just for reference, here are the couplers I need.
2in ID 45'
3in ID 45'
2.5in ID hump
2>2.5in ID reducer
two 2.5in ID straight
I want them in all black. If you know of a company, please let me know.
If you tell me to search google :fawk2: I have searched. I dont need stupid answers. If you have something informative or helpful, then please do so, if not, there are 396,692 other threads you can go bash...

Sweet, thanks. I just looked at all of them, they have them all, but they seem incredibly cheaper then anywhere else I have looked.. Not saying that the quality is bad, just caught my attention, you know? Have you ever used these, or know anyone that has, that can confirm if they are of good quality?? I appreciate the help..

I cheaped out and ordered all of my t-bolt clamps from them a year or two ago. I've never had any issues with them- I know those aren't couplers, though.
I'm in the market for black couplers as well, so I'll be interested to see what people say.

Ya, Im good on clamps. I ordered all new ones from 240sxmotoring.com. But, as far as I can see about their couplers, them seem legit.. I just want to wait a few days and see what other info people have before I order them.. Love your car by the way, especially because you had the balls to do it in Michigan and drive it on the roads.... lol (Im from Flint)

Also looked at turbohoses.com, but I will not buy there parts because they supply parts to Obamas helicopter, and his helicopter has not crashed yet, and he is still alive. If it had crashed, then I would reconsider buying their parts.. But they seem about the same price as the name brands.

CamryOnBronze, Have you checked at HPS?? I was going to order all my black couplers from there, but they discontinued some of the sizes I needed.

Sweet. I actually just emailed them. On the website, they said that they didnt make their 3" 45' coupler anymore. But they were actually just out of stock. I am waiting for a reply for them to let me know when they get them back in stock. They have all the other ones I need, I will probably end up ordering all mine from there, depending on how long it takes them to get that one back in stock. Thanks for the info.

I've been using them for 4-5years now. No issues. I run 20psi on my SR and it makes just over 400hp.
I also have an OEM account with them and purchase them for my air assisted agricultural sprayers; I've literately bought 100's of them. They hold up great! I would not recommend them if they did not.

I've always used vibrant but that's because they're available locally. For my next build I plan on using Turbosmart everything.

Ya, I have Vibrant now, but all blue. I want all black, and Vibrant or Turbosmart dont make the ones I need in black. It sucks too, because I have a friend who is sponsored by turbosmart, and I could have got them all at cost... but oh well.

Also, have you used these, or know who has, to confirm the quality?? They seem really good, and I may order these, but I just want someone to vouch for them.

Thanks, but Vibrants are way overpriced. Just my opinion. They have to go through alot more to sell them rather then getting them from the manufacture. Makes the parts more expensive.

Damn, I just looked them up, If you were an hour earlier, I probably would have ordered from them. They seem to look a little better then siliconeintakes.. Just my opinion though. Just going off the pics on the website. They just look like a little better quality. I dont know, we will see when they get here.

Has anyone else heard or used Votion Speed products? I have never heard of them until now, and their parts seem legit.. Thinking about piecing together an oil cooler from them.

Ok, so funny story.... I ordered all mine from siliconeintakes.com.... They sent me an email later on, and said they were out of stock of 2 of the couplers.... So I just canceled my order, and ordered all of them through Votion... We will see how this goes... Never knew getting couplers would be so hard
