Did you just put the distributor back in? Or did you put it back in and adjust your timing with a timing gun?

Here're some:
Rent a timing gun.
Borrow a timing gun.
Steal a timing gun.
Make a timing gun.
Buy a timing gun.

Etc.

Get your base timing right, and if you still have problems check back and we'l go from there. Timing guns are cheap. Even if this isn't THE problem (which it likely is, you might be off a tooth) it's still A problem.

Also what bolt are you talking about? I don't remember any bolts on my cap. Clips maybe, which I've broken.

*sighs* see I was trying to avoid the whole timing gun rental thing but apparently Its unavoidable lol cause In this "great" state of tx everything is atleast an hour away which sucks especially when my all famed Ecoboost f150 which supposably gets 22mpg (even 15 would be nice since i had mt tires and rims) gets 13mpg lol oh and back to the subject lol I never had a car with a dizzy before so the whole tooth alignment and timing thing is new to me my father in law will be here saturday to help although his knowledge of imports is limited I assume dizzy and timing is pretty much universal and as far as the bolts u have 2 that hold the cap on the dizzy (no clips they were 10mm screws) and 1 broke

You MUST have a Timing Gun. Setting Timing by ear is a thing of the past. Especially with todays ECU's.

Okay. I thought the distributor's cap's cap was the distributor's cap. I could never figure out why people were so worried about them lol.

Try putting the pickup on a different spark plug wire.

Possibly the distributor itself. The internal cam angle sensor could be bad.

i didnt think the s13 ka24de had a cas and if the distributor was bad wouldnt it be the same problem in one specific cylinder over again (my guess is it is the distributor but i dont know much about them so if u could explain how it would cause fault in just one cylinder for my own informative purposes i would appreciate it)

The s13 distributor has the cas built in to the distributor itself. It sends a pulse with each rotation. If its bad it could send an intermittent pulse making your miss by not firing on time. There could still be spark at each cylinder but maybe not on time. Not saying go buy an expensive distributor just to try, but if you can get one cheap or swap a buddies it might be worth a shot.

If u pull the distributor cap off, rotor, and the distributor plate behind that you will see the cas. 34275

well not that u mentioned that at idle i do have a whole buntch of "missing" so that seems that a good idea of whats wrong

Yea theres a good chance that could be it. Not positive but seems logical. Hope it works out.
