Original california car, now reggd in tennesee for 2012.. bu back in california and I'm getting it for a price I cannot refuse.. clean title low original miles for a 90 needs some body work but not worried about that.. paying $500 for it btw

Smog parts removed but ill be reinstalling them, my question is, how hard will it be to get plates and registered? Should I be aware of anything before I take it home with me?

as long as it has returned to its original condition meaning stock as fawk, with all the smog bull craps.

for $500 its worth it, hell you could part it out and make your money back if something goes wrong.

My car was registered in Georgia but car was in California. I just had to pay registration fees, smog, and have someone at the DMV verify the VIN numbers on the car.

Awsome thanks for the info folks! thought it'd be a huge hassle.. anybody else out there have some input for me? I'm planning to travel 3 hours north of san fran, just want to be on the extra safe side before I make that move.

This.

Knoxville has no inspections what so ever, we just have to register the car and were done. Its awesome.
