Swift Springs dynoed - North American Motoring (http://www.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/suspension/157535-swift-springs-dynoed.html)

This is an article I found recently on the swift springs that were tested against many other popular companies like zeal, H&R, eibach, and the likes of many others.

Many of the Megan coilover springs and BC coilovers springs were binding so this enthusiast tried swifts with amazing results.

Just awesome to know that there are still technological progression still going on in the suspension of cars!

Recently I have noticed a lot of customers with KW coilovers breaking their springs more and more often, and coming from a reputable company with such a great shock design, I would have never suspected this. But since googling the issue, it shows that there are many cases in many different types of cars.

11-05-2008 was 4 years ago, which is nowhere near "recent", and this link has already been posted many times.

And it has quite some lies in them, especially when talking about sag. I used apex coilovers (same as bc racing ones) for some years now. I just changed my springs. They still have the same height, have not changed a mm. What might have been true years ago is not always true now.

I posted this in my thread...

But swift is not just about sag, its about coil compression before binding, accuracy to maintain linear compression throughout spring travel, and weight....

Swift is one of the best brands and many people can attest to that... so is high end hypercoils and eibachs.

All other springs basically made in the same factory in china pretty much....

Here was my impressions and some others as well.....

A 30 dollar set of torrington/thrust bearings on there will make most issues go away in that case.

In regard to springs, any of the reputable name brands will be good. You find *anyone* who can ID spring manufacturer on a car and I'll buy you ice cream. Not meant to be dicky with that comment, but it's like arguing over different shades of brown ya know?
