anyone have their AEM try boost dyne tuned or tuned really well with a stock t28 turbo (or something close?) Found a few threads on the subject, but no answers.
Hope this helps: Watch all 4 videos and you'll have a really good understanding of how to tune it yourself! :)

Thanks Chad, just watched them, piece of cake!
Now... what's the easiest way to determine my wastegate spring pressure? Just drive the car with the controller off and see when it opens/boost stops (probably around 7-8psi)? Then set the controller for about 3psi less than that?
yep sounds about right. i have boost set at 15 and i have the crack pressure set at 11 or 12 i think. nice boost controller though. i love mine.
Well, what turbo do you have on there? If it's a stock t25/t28 stock wastegate pressure is going to be around 7psi, yes. On an aftermarket turbo, just contact the manufacturer if you aren't sure!
If you're running an external wastegate, and aren't sure what spring is in there, then yes drive it bypassing the controller and see where it is.
I honestly have had better results setting the controller 1-2 psi less rather than 3 in some cases. But try what AEM recommends first, because you can always change things after you become comfortable with the product!
Sorry, just read the thread title. Yes, 7psi. haha

Got everything up and running, breeze to install. Setup looks pretty easy. I'll report back tomorrow after I street tune the car.
