View Full Version : Seat belt conversion; Direct bolt on options

Hey guys.

I know there are a lot of threads out there regarding this topic.
But I haven't seen a list of direct bolt on seat belt conversions.

For example;
I know a lot of people do the S14 conversion but thats still not a direct bolt on.
The top of the bottom bracket doesn't match up correctly.

Yes, I know you can just get the Canadian or JDM seat belts..obviously..
But what I'm talking about here is getting seat belts from different cars like the USDM 200sx. I've heard this bolts up directly? (can someone confirm..)

I'm interested in changing my seat belts but I'm curious to know what actually fits without getting a custom bracket or using zip ties.
This is without taking into consideration of the pillars..which is a different issue.

It's quite possible that nothing will be a direct bolt on since they are all different chassis.

Seat belts are pretty damn simple. Just get one that is the right length, enlarge the mounting holes if necessary and use the bolts that you currently have to mount. I think you'll run into the same issue as the S14's though, where the important bolts line up, but not all.

I run S14 belts and I love them and I think you are putting too much effort in when you can get CDM / S14 belts here easily.

It gets even easier. All you need is a 3 point seatbelt before you take it out of the other car yank on it an make sure it locks. I got mine out of an Integra and it was a straight bolt in.

Bolt in and then cut holes into interior panels not hard

Is there anything extra you need to do to make it fit?
(besides modifying the pillars)

first time im hearing the integra belts fit.
what yr/model integ did you pull it from?

nope just the belts and the bolts from donor car an trim a oval hole for the belt to feed through
