Is it a good deal if i could get a RB26DETT engine, and installed and totaly working, including turbo timer, boost controller, and all that stuff for $10,000.

the rb26 will need custom mounts, and it's from an AWD car so that won't help the swap, and you could get an rb20 for cheaper INSTALLED with all of that good stuff

I would have had one, but i dident want a coupe, i was going to go out and buy it, but the ppl are old, and they said it was a fastback, and i found out it was really a coupe. They only thought it was a fastback cuz it had a spoiler, so I would have had one, i have more than enought money, i just need the right one. &nbsp;Also, 10,000 includes engine, custiom mounts everything, and its a r34 engine. &nbsp;

You know what, it is a great idea. &nbsp;That is pretty cheap for the installation and all, and the skyline parts are pretty cheap if anything breaks. &nbsp;overall it's a great motor for the 240 and offers the best dollar-to-horsepower- ratio than any other engine. &nbsp;and i think having a skyline motor is so neat!

rb25det trans bolts up directly to an rb26dett and will give it RWD function. the engine itself can be gotten domestically for around 6500, but there is alot of custom work to be done. i'd say that $10k would be a deal worth taking if you want it and can afford it. i wouldnt get it done by someone who hasnt done one though, or at least has direct contact and instructions from someone who has

Were can u get a R34 for 6.5gs, ive seen R33 for that, but most R34s are 8gs, atleast what i have found, and yea, they have done a rb20 and a rb25, and have hlped with a rb26, its a place by me that specializes in silvia/240 stuff

God your a fagot, maybe if their was a 240 worth buying in my area i would have one, its not my fult i cant get one now, my dad wont let me buy offline, and its hard to find a good 240 in Minnesota, all the ones i see are coupes or automatic, or automatic coupes, im still looking for just the right car, so back off, jerk

but the one for 6800$ is from a R32 not a R34, the R34 Ones are more expenmsive, and are better, and those run around 8000$, and that was the one i was looking at, i found a r32 for about 55000, which is a decent deal, but im realy insterested in the r34 enine, and i dont want to go though the wrok of doing a auto to manual swap
