I'm definitely not the most creative guy and I'd like to do something special this year but haven't quite figured it out yet. Time is certainly closing in though, and I'm sure some of you are in the same situation lol. So far all I have is dinner reservations and the gift planned. Chocolates, flowers, teddy bear, typical V-Day shit. Still debating on whether or not I want to go all out or not and buy her like a bracelet or something too

Got my on-again-off-again girlfriend of the past 5+ years. She's simple though. Flowers and a personalized card is enough for her. I always feel like I should do more though. So since I have V-day off this year, we're spending the whole day together. Two days in fact.

I'm not planning anything overly romantic since we're not exclusive at the moment, but we'll do regular couple stuff: lets go play miniture golf, lets get lunch at someplace we've never been, lets get tipsy while bowling, lets have dinner at the nicest place that I didn't need to get reservations for because I didn't think that far ahead...

I should probably check my Living Social for better ideas.

Valentines day cracks me up. A Holiday created by a Gift Card company to sell more cards. That turns into the day, when guys who have not done shit to woo their girl all year long, try to make up for it in one day. LOL

With that said do something for your girl but also think about this. Why am I putting so much effort into this day when I don't really bother with it the rest of the year. Maybe also have valentines day remind you. Girls like to be treated special from time to time, not just once a year.
