ok so not to make a generalization or anything, cuz one of my best friends has a 328 CI, but n e ways i was driving along and i pull up to an intersection with lights so im waiting patiently at my light and a cop pulls up next to me..... the opposing side gets a green light first so as they're going i see this guy in a 850 ci hes in the right lane, no turns straight only, and he does the old signal and cut in during the turn...... so i'm like that stuck up ass..... he deserves to get pulled over, he had a cell phone in his hand and sunglasses on his face and it was cloudy any ways, u could tell he was one of those snobs..... so.... i look over at the cop and he looks back at me LoL we both smiled it was like a blessing to both of us LoL he wanted to pull someone over and i wanted to see snobby ass get pulled over so it worked and Boo YAH he got what he deserved ...... just thought that was funny i'll shut up now

aargh.... a cop was almost up my ass one night and I wasn't doing anything wrong... (going like 5 over the speed limit) so I switch lanes to let the cop by... and he stays in my blind spot for a while before moving on. a little bit later, a mustang FLIES by me and i'm like "haha sucker's gonna get busted". Anyways, I come up to a red light and the mustang is inching under it... and eventually runs it. Right as he does, the cop is pulling out of a parking lot and does absolutely squat.....

I think I'm gonna have to buy the police chief a T-bone and get a white card to wave like in "The Great Gatsby". I wish, although I'm just crazy enough to try it.
in a few years 8 series will be 15-18 years old... are their any cars that still cost 45,000 US from 89-91 aside from the porsche, ferrari etc...
ithink you should be able to grab one a little cheaper, especially now that they are 3 models back, but they arent easy to find in stick

You probably know why the cop hung out in your blind spot but just in case you don't...
check this out. I used to have a friend who's dad was REAL high in the California Highway Patrol. He told me his two favorite ways to catch speeders.
1) He would go to a gas station at night and wet a few paper towels. Then, he would walk out to his cruiser and place the paper towels over one headlight. He immediatley hit the freeway. People ahead would continue to speed because no one expects to get pulled over by a cop with a headlight out, or even that a cops headlight would be out. Well, he would bust that person, and by the time he stopped and got them over to the road, the paper towel would've dried and flown off, leaving exposed two healthy headlights.
2) He would creep up on you (a lot of speeders don't watch their mirrors) and instead of passing, he would hang out in your blind spot. He did this because now, you're speeding, you check your mirros and you see no cops. Then he just paces you and boom..you're toast. I actually had a cop do this to me one day (although I saw him when he was still far off), and after about a mile of exactly 65mph with him in my blindspot I looked and glared at him. He immediatley continued on his way. Bitch...

at the infiniti dealer i used to work at we had a 90 or 91 white 850ci auto w/ blue leather with about 130k miles for $14,900. It was up for a long time though, it was in GREAT condition but there was some problem with it that resulted in it bein sent to a local BMW dealer every week or so. we had people comin in to look at it from all across the country though, if i had an extra $15k to spend on an unlreliable but highly collectable car it'd be mine right now :-)
