Why did you go for a higher offset out front? Isn't it better to have a lower offset in front when the wheel is slightly narrower so the track is the same width in the front and the back?

one guess
maybe he has stock front fenders? so that might play a role into it.
i know his rear fenders are pulled.

Won't be in SF sorry, but parking is bad there and rent is high. We're looking for something more central to the folks in the city and those in the south bay...

Man Aaron you're too quick for me hahaha... but yeah he has stock front fenders so this offset will allow usage...

I get used to seeing people with the wide fenders when they get nice wheels like this so that's why I made that assumption.

The bling factor is totally there but I think the wheels are overkill
unless you're putting down some serous power.

I think last place is thinking that they are chrome. Or at least chrome in the sense of bling-bling wheels such as Lexani and Giovanna, etc. The finish is WMC, and if you see a high-quality wheel with a WMC, SMC, or even chrome finish (other than Hyper Chrome) in person, you will see that it is nothing like those big baller, doo doo chrome wheels. The finish is smooth and flat and reflects like a MIRROR. It is thin, and looks like a property of the metal, not thick and gooped on looking like those cheap chromies. Also, the edges remain crisp and sharp, accenting the wheel and maintaining its look, again unlike the chrome wheels we in the US are accustomed to seeing. I invite people to look at Japan's high-quality version of a "chrome" wheel to see-and understand-the difference...

With the camber set to like -6.5' at the front, I think they almost DON'T look like ass.
Jerry is a rich mother-pecker... I'm going to kill him, get a 5-lug for my 86, and then steal his stupid wheels. Then I'll sell them for "one mill-ion dollars... ooohhhh-ah-ah-ah..."
Jerry = die.

01-22-2004, 04:23 PM
P.S. Watch for flying driver's side wheels... cuz' when I was helping him adjust camber, his front d/s wheel wobbled like the hub/brake/wheel setup was gonna' fly off at high speeds.
Heartwork's response... "It'll fix itself."

Good info. To add, this is considered as standard chrome. They also chrome the full face, which they call supaa chrome (supaa kuromu maki). Hand polished, Work finishes look very very clean.
By the way, for the people that didn't know, the Termist S1C only comes in silver or chrome. Good stuff...
