JUN also sells a 2.2 stroker kit for SR. .
~6,000 USD iirc.

I can sell you a 2.4 engine, only needs a turbo. . for 4500. . just 4500. . and it's 2/10 of a liter BIGGER, how do ya like THAT :D

The tomei engines range in price but they're all way too expensive. If you dump 2/3 of the money into a KA instead, you'll be pushing 500 horses with fully buit internals.

tomei and toda both have a 2.2L stroker for the sr.

both are in the $4,000+ range just for the kit, if I remember correctly.

scary stuff. But so much greatness.

However, if I were going to go that route, I'd spend the money on a built KA. But, thats just me. :p

JIC does not make motors at all. They don't even make any engine parts. If you pay close attention to the JIC S15 you can see the tomei power stickers on the car. I have driven in the car (in yokohama) and been under the hood, it is a full Tomei kit, built by Tomei, installed by Cross Sports Racing. Yes I used to work for JIC.

WOW. Did you see prices on those things?

$15,000 for a 2.2L sr20det fully assembled, blueprinted, balanced, the works.

A little out of my budget.

SHIT! ...if I had that much....well,if I had that much budgeted just for my car alone,I definitely would not put in an SR...RB POWER BABY!

Shit for that much, you could buy a crappy old camaro or nova, and put a crate engine in it,and run 12's all day long

and this doesnt even include the rest of the drivetrain that may or may not need to be beefed up. I love comparing to mustang 5.0's. On a 5 liter, you can get a stroker kit for 1500 bucks. You're 5.0 liter is now a 5.7 liter. Some good aluminum heads, ported and polished for about 2 grand, fully assembled. An upper and lower intake manifold for turbo for less than a grand. A turbo kit for about 5 grand. = 700 horsepower on pump gas. And off you go.

Or you can just get a 2jz and do the same thing for less. In fact a friend of mine laid down over 750whp on a stock block and stock head 2jz.
