JIC FLT-A1US group buy

JIC FLT- A1US coilovers are 5 way dampening adjustable, height adjustable at the lower mount as well as having adjustable spring perches. They include front and rear upper mounts as well (I believe the fronts are camber plates). The springrates are 7/5, which is pretty balanced between a daily driver setup and a track setup. They're pretty much everything you'd want in a coilover setup.

i'm assuming that the deal won't be finalized untill at least 6 people participate, but it's really a question for jeff (boosteds14). i have a friend on the B15 boards seeing if there's going to be any help from there as well.... so i don't think it will take too long for spots to fill.

How do I sign up? Never been in a group buy so I'm not sure how it works. I've never heard of CIP Motorsports, anyone ever buy anything from them?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the A1s are like the A2s except they only have a 5-way dampening vs. the A2's 15-way. Besides that, there aren't many differences.

I believe the spring rates on the A2's are 8/6. So the A1's will have a softer/ more comfortable ride.

Hey this sounds like a good deal... I think I'm interested.... the A2's would be too stiff for my needs (I don't track) but these sound just right. How many people are defintely in so far? I have the money so I can go in at any time.

Double height adjustable means that you can adjust the height of the coilover via the spring perch or the lower bracket. Adjusting with only the lower bracket allows you to retain full travel.

We still have your information and we can order it for you but it will be on a special order basis and the price will be different because of the number of people per order.

I just dont like holding ppl's money for such a long time.
For one customer or two i will be happy to special order them with a deposit. But 6!!! Customers want there products as fast as possible and sometimes holding someone's money for a long time could make them cancel and then we run into the problem.

I called Enjuku and Vivid Racing asking about these (both list them), and I got 6-8 weeks from both places. When I called JIC, they said it's a new coilover that hasn't officially been introduced yet and the ones coming in 6-8 weeks is the first shipment. Either way it doesn't matter, just telling you what JIC told me. If I didn't have to wait 6-8 weeks (say 3-4 tops), I'd be all over this group buy.

I LOVE EM! Comparing the looks of them with the Tein HE's, the JIC are beefier. Comparing them to the Eibach Sportlines I had on my car for the past 6.5 years, is like night and day. When my friend rode with me who has been in a different 240 with HE's, he commented on how much better the ride was. I had the settings at 2 in front and rear out of the 5 possible. Very streetable and with the settings at 4/5 all around, definately good for tracking. Along with the other suspension mods I have in my car, I was able to corner with almost no body roll (on the streets). It feels very solid. I can't wait to get some beffier sways! IMO, definately worth the money. I'll cruise by and let yo check them out next time im in Clairmont. Late!
