I will be honest in saying that the buyer of the car will assume full responsibility for actually getting the car titled. I can help, and plenty of other people have done it successfully, but of course I cannot guarantee anything.

Please do not turn my thread into a federal vs state legality debate. Also, please do not flame my thread with any opinions regarding the legal aspects of driving, owning, or registering skylines- anyone who is interested in buying the car is already fully aware of these stipulations.

My personal recommendation would be to use the car for off road purposes only. This was my initial intention with the car, and I have only looked into the registration aspects out of curiosity. The price is good enough to warrant spending on a track toy in my opinion.

I am not trying to pass the car off as anything that it is not; I have fully disclosed this information. Please refrain from voicing your opinion about my car's legality. The photo you linked can be found with a simple google search- it certainly doesn't take extensive research to come across. The outcome of the one case that you outlined was specific to that case, and therefore does not summarize every Skyline in the United States. There are certainly extenuating circumstances that are unique to each Skyline. Thus, it is impossible to generalize that all Skylines will be seized. While this is a possibility depending on a future buyer's actions in terms of registering the car, the odds of this outcome are incredibly variable.

Do you have any idea the sheer volume of interest that this car generates? Since I managed to overlook a few texts/calls because I was still both debating the trade and still accepting preferable cash offers, you're going to accuse me of being a shady seller?

Sure, I may have "confirmed interest" in the Z by talking with Jas for a bit, but in no way, shape, or form did I EVER commit to any type of deal whatsoever. Thus, I am not obligated to follow through with anything, which I clearly outlined to Jas through multiple calls and messages. The fact that I was debating the trade was a mutual understanding between me and Jas. Obviously you were left out of this understanding.
