S14 hood wont lock

Hey guys cars hood just decided Piss me off...out of no where it just decided not to lock...any suggestions?

Raise the hood bumpers up I used zipties it worked for me also play with the latch use wd40 on it

My car is lowered and scrapped the latch cable a little. I don't know if that would affect it

remove the spring and see if the hood release cable under the spring is attatched

open the hood, spray with pb blaster, push the hook down with a screw driver a couple of times. pull the cable a few times repeat then close hood. i do this everyday at work

I don't trust hood latches at all, for any reason.
Hood pins sir.
That's about the only thing I trust to hold my hood back from making out with my windshield.

Ok jut got it to work!
Just had to adjust the leveler

I'm also having this same problem, I just bought a new VIS carbon fiber hood and now the hood wont lock, it latches on the first hook but wont go far enough down to look into the second position.

It seems like the latch should be higher so it pushes down far enough to latch and lock.

Any suggestions??

Raise the latch?

yeah loose those 3 bolts that hold the latch. than move it up or down to where you need it.
