I'll post some pictures up as soon as i get them, I was not able to take some myself as I kept pretty busy today.

This is the new drivers list. This is no longer a tentative list. This is for people who are going to sign up, and once you have paid we will put an asterisk * at the end of your name.

These are the registration options:
$100 Both days (25th-26th)
$70 for one day.
When you send a payment, be sure to let us know what weekend you will be doing and if just one or two days.
As of today(the

I will make a time schedule and set up some rules hopefully Tuesday the 14th(the latest)

Also payment will be updated tomorrow.


We want to get an event going here. This is in the works, but if enough ppl sign up then this event will be held Feb. 18-19th(Sat. & Sun.). This is a new venue to most of us, including me, but a few people from the 805 area will be checking out the lot this weekend and next weekend to see if it will be suitable to hold an event.

Looking to get some people together for drift days in Moorpark Ca. Very secluded spot on private property.Its the size of a football field,maybe a little bigger.Ive rented the spot out a bunch of times already.Owner jacked the price up so now need some more people to come in on the deal.It would be $100 for 2 days.Would be a weekend.Can set up whatever type of track you want as long as everyone is cool with it.If you are in So Cal and interested let me know.Alot less of a drive than Willow,weather is better,you can do what you want as long as it is safe,might be water out there to wet down.Im not making money on the deal,just want to pay for track.I would need 14 other people cause the track is $1500 for weekend.Owner does not do daily deals.Ive looked everywhere and this is the best deal around. Im game I had no idea no one had told me about it. I would only be able to the 19th I will actually be at willow on the 18th lol. This is dope and super close to me I used to go to Thunder dome if you know what I'm talking about and slide there.

Oh man!!! So this weekend was pretty intense for me. Friday night I went to a birthday party in the Pomona area. Saturday morning checked the lot out, then went to Whittier. And Sunday I worked on cars all day, and me and my buddies got one of our projects running.

Anyways, me, Alonzo and some of his buddies(RX-7 dudes) went to check out the venue and lot for the drift event. I did take a video camera but since we weren't able to drive around in the lot I didn't film anything, but we did take pictures. It's a bit shorter than balcony but probably a tad wider and definitely suitable for a drift event. The first issue is that we would need to clean up the road leading to the lot, this shouldn't be too hard.

The bigger problem is something a few of us can pitch in with and we can do in a days work. As you can see from the pictures there is grass growing through the cement cracks. So if we take some shovels and get to it, we can finish pulling all the weeds in like half a day, after that then we should probably test drive on it just becuase you can't tell 100% if it's not bumpy without driving on it.

So first we gotta smooth the road out a bit for those super low cars so they don't drag their kits on some of the dirt bumps. Second is clean up the lot where we're gonna drift. And third we need to drive on it before we all put money down and I feel it's suitable for coilovered cars to drift on.

It's a lot of work, and especially if we clean everything up and then the event doesn't go through, but I'm willing to put in work to try to get this rolling. I would rather regret wasting my time doing all this and not finding it suitable than never event trying to do anything to get another venue in SoCal.

I'll call him tomorrow and ask about sunday.The problem will be the gate is locked.i doubt he is going to drive from studio city to open it.We might have to walk around it.Was it open when you looked.We definitely need a wheel barrel and like six flat shovels.If we cant get the gate open then you can test.You might just have to eyeball it.I know it will be fine once cleaned.The only thing this guy cares about is money and when hes getting it.Ive delt with him many times.

This is still the tentative drivers list as we have not set up payment yet.

I cleaned up the list a bit. If you add yourself, try to provide your name or screen name and name.

We might be at a point where we can charge a bit less for those who only want to go one day. I think as of now we are looking at $100 for both days, but some people might only need one day. So we might bring the price down to sign up for just one day.

I'm hoping this Sunday we can get a course layout going that way we know if and how many cones we'll need.

If you have cones and are willing to help by letting us use them, PM me and I'll get u my number so we can work something out.

Also, if all goes well this Sunday and the event turns out to be doable, I will start working on rules and day schedules for beginners and intermediate/advanced drivers.

Yes its Cancelled.First off like four guys bailed at the last minute.I was not happy about that but was gonna cover it.Then the owner at the last minute told me the last minute he wanted his money up front after agreeing several times he would be paid after. You think im happy.Im out like $200 buying tires ,having a uhaul trailor outside my house right now.Everyones getting a full refund and yes paypal fee.I'll be at balcony tomorrow if its available.Those who are going up,i could give you cash back instead of paypal.Let me know.Spread the word that its cancelled.

i understand man.. but before you call it cancelled, you should ask opinions/suggestions from other drivers that payed already for some recommendations / suggestions for this event will push thru.. its unfair that 4 people flakes, rest will suffer..

Next time get shit in writing. There are always shady people out there trying to take advantage of others' good intentions. Sucks for you guys though.

You should make the owner at least pay u for the time/materials spent to clean up the place. It's not ur fault he went back on his word.

I sent everyones money back. Paypal charged a fee for some and not others.Dont know why.im gonna cover the fees in a few days. I had to add Funds to my account and paypal says it takes 3-5 days unfortunately.They are coming so dont worry. As far as this event goes, problem was i wasnt dealing with owner ,but the guy who manages the place.I cant go into detail on here.He thought i was bluffing when i told him i would cancel if he did not stick to our original deal.He then agreed again he will be paid after. At 6pm Friday he then told me(after he knew all this prep work was done) that he wanted his money up front.I told him no and cancelled,I explained to Rudy why we needed to pay afterwards so you can ask him.Cant go into detail here. Late Friday,the guy messages me how sorry he is, and all this other bullshit. He screwed himself and still wants to do it now but im not putting my money up front.

^ yes please, i will volunteer hours to help clean up whatever lot is available. i very much would like to see a consistent drift scene in the 805. i live in santa barbara & there are no places to drift around here =(

Unfortunately, I doubt an event will happen at the venue that me and the guys went to clean up in Moorpark. It was a great little lot, not super big but w/e.

I havent had time to look into putting an event together lately since I've been working on developing some drift knuckles and getting ny car running again.

Hopefully ill look into the fairgrounds again once I get these issues of line sorted out. Especially since the lot at the VC Fairgrounds was used for the Jim Hall karting this last summer.

my eyes have been peeled forever plz tell me what u know haha the only thing we were supposed to be exspecting was "dream big motorpark" or something like that and it all seemed like to many dreams i only can wish that theyll start something back up in moorpark, i would go everytime.
