Other than the battery dieing, what kind of bad stuff happens to a car while its just sitting? Bearings and rotors rust? I really can't think of anything that would go bad.

How easy/hard is it to get a title for a car w/out one? One missing an engine and interior (so no dash). I know the vin is on a few other part throught the car but I don't know where. Any ideas on how to do this, if its possible and how much it'd cost??

How hard is it to have someone weld on new patches to a car with rust? 2 places I'm thinking of mainly...the spare tire well and right in front of the rear wheel. Someone put a bottle jack through the "frame" and it rusted out. Not a frame rail but right on the edge where there is a lip for the factory jack but at the rear rear just in front of the rear tire.

TIA!

well, for it sitting a while, you could probably have problems w/ seals and gaskets drying out/rotting/etc. Also, you want to make sure it moves a little bit so you dont get a flat spot on the tires from being in the same place for a real long time

for the title, it is pretty easy to get a salvage title, but I believe that I needed the original one to get it. I dont know about getting one without a title at all. i would think that you need something to prove it is yours, maybe a bill of sale of something.

and for welding, if you have a buddy with the equipment, and its not something where looks are a real concern, itd be real easy. But if not, you gotta find a shop to do it.

I can't remember where you live but I think it was Virginia, so here you go.

Gasoline in the gas tank can also go bad from sitting for so long, it would make the car stumble and run shitty over all or not at all. You would have to siphon it out or try adding HEET to the gas to fix it.
