New clutch slipping

So I replaced my old worn clutch and now the new one slips very bad. I had a shop install the clutch and it slipped on my way home from picking it up. I drove it right back to the shop and they adjusted it and it drove fine for the rest of the day. The next day as I drove the clutch pedal started releasing higher and higher and it started slipping again. Took the car back and they bleed it again and adjusted it. Same thing happened. It drove fine then started slipping again. I also installed a new slave cylinder and master. Flywheel has also been resurfaced. I have searched and found many have had this same problem but none of the threads have a solution.

What's a break-it period? But yes, Edwin is right, there is a break in period for clutches. You can't just go out an romp on them right away. If you happened to do so, you probably glazed the disk and are now fuxored...

You could have a leaking master or slave cylinder, or the clutch system might not have been bleed properly

Yes I'm aware of the break in period and I the clutch was slipping on the way home from the shop. Going up hills it will slip at around 2500 rpm. A big problem is the clutch pedal releasing low then gradually higher as the car warms up.

check your clutch pedal push rod. it might be getting tighter every time you step on the clutch.(that`s why i never mess with the clutch pedal push rod). adjust the push rod till you get about 1 inch of free play on the pedal. and tighten the lock nut really good. bad master or slave cylinder will not make a clutch slip. it will make it hard to shift but not slip.
