If you've sealed the taillights, check the seal around the hatch.

i have.. you can clearly see the water marks where its running down from the tail light.. is there a fix for this or a oem tail light weather strip?

I'm not sure if anyone besides Nissan (dealership) makes/offers a replacement tail light gasket/seal.
Please share if you can find a replacement that isn't over priced for what it is.
Search other 240sx forums.
Try re-sealing the tail lights with another product/brand.
Good luck.

here's a pretty good write-up

Try sealing with silicone. That is what I did and it is a good seal.

Very common issue on hatches, I went to napa auto parts and bought butyl tape. Apparently its the same stuff they seal windows with. You have to fully take apart the tailights and get a good amount of that stuff around the tails. 1 roll did it for me but not sure if I used 1/4" or 3/8"

Make sure you refill the blinker fluid before you finish.

+1 on butyl tape.
Also just fyi:
The hatch leaks from 6 seams. You have to use seam sealer on all 6 locations--3 on each side--to stop the leak.
There are two by the hinges, two along half way down the hatch, and two above the tail lights.
After sealing these spots on my hatch, I've never had another leak!
Send me a PM and remind me to take a photo if you need more help.

+1 for the write up on nico but my question is if you use that "MORETITE" stuff, can you still take the taillights out?
