this was posted in another one of those 4 lug threads where they want the wider wheels, etc. and i thought the wheel deserved some recognition...

that really really does look good, i know you can run that size in the rear on the s14a, but in the front, you'd need camber plates and thats it right?

Hey guys, I was the one that posted that. I saw the picture in a wheel brochure and was like holy shit. I had someone that said they sell them on discount tire and apparently they called them up and discount tire says they only come in 5 lug when the brochure shows a 4 lug wheel. If someone could get the number to the manufacturer (MB Motorsports) I'm sure we could get this matter settled because they are really cheap for such a great combo for the 4 luggers out there.

Dang it..the prices and selection are good on this site, but they don't seem to carry anything other than sorry offsets. D'oh!

You have to put in like a 1991 300zx (if your 5 lug) or they will automatically list up sorry ass fwd offsets with like every car.
And yeah 20lbs is heavy but when you've got 400 horsepower I want all the tire on the road I can get. Hell being heavier even helps to get more grip when you are burning off your current 225s:rolleyes:
I had those wheels for about a month before I had to sell them. Some things:
1) The wheels weighed more close to 19 lbs on a scale, if that makes any difference.
2) I don't know how it is now, but mines were just rebadged A-Tech Finalspeeds. A-Tech was stamped onto the little mini lip on the wheel. I think they just buy the wheels and recoat them (Finalspeeds don't come in the gunmetal color they offer). Or maybe MB got the mold from A-Tech. I dunno. Either way, design-wise they are the same as Finalspeeds.
3) The biggest size for the wheel in 4 lug is 17x8 +35
4) The finish isn't so great. But for the price I don't think you can expect much.
Anyways, I think for the price it's not so bad. I'm gonna be getting another set soon.
