Can anyone give me a good guess on what body shops are charging these days.

I need some work done to the s13 I just picked up.

It looks like it has hit a ditch, curb, or something else at some point.

Pass fender is pushed back into the door. caused me to think the door was sagging.

What I need is to have all the shit on the front of the car straightned up and put back together right, then have the whole car repainted to the factory grey. Filling/pulling a ding or 2 and a good sized dent.

So for anyone that has had this done...
What can I expect to pay.

There are a ridiculous amount of variables here.

Just take it to a few places and get estimates.

I would say $9,532.35 (Exactly)

$75-$100 per hour until it's fixed. Expect to pay more than the car is worth.

Also, pics or it didn't happen.

if the frame is bent and it needs pulled, and you need a paintjob...i'd buy another car.

this would be a good time to practice doing bodywork yourself, trust me when you get good at it,it becomes a reassuring feeling knowing that anytime your car might get damaged you can just fix it yourself, one of the reasons I went to school for both autobody and automotive repair.

Im in VA, Near Roanoke and Blacksburg.

If it has frame damage I think I'll explode.
Then put it up for sale.

I'm in the worst rut as it is...

Dam too far, my friend just opened up a bodyshop here in socal and is doing some promotions. Well if its worth it to you, save it. If not part it out or sell it to try and get some money back. Good luck with it

Pictures would help...... Frames are easy to fix people just freak out because they don't understand how to properly repair them :wackit:

It's not cheap to have a good job done. Not bubbas backyard mechanic shop. 80-120 dollars an hour. For an s13 that's probably not worth it

Frame work can be high sometimes depends on the amount of damage. I have fixed them at home for some of my buddies but then again I am a bodyman . Pictures would help but it the car has been smashed up then it might not be worth fixing

Really you cant tell much from the out side of the car.
The passenger side fender is pushed back enough that it rubs the door. the door is SOLID it doesnt move up or down.. could stand to close a little tighter.. but thats about it.

There seem to be about 50% or less of the nuts/bolts holding on the bumper cover

The drivers side headlight cover and surrounding dont line up very well, the bumper is high or the hood is low.. it also seems as if the headlight doesnt go down far enough.. so maybe the headlight bracket is bent, its defiantly missing a bolt.

I'm working on de-rigging the "start button" in my car right now.. I cant believe how this thing was treated -_-

Pictures would help.

Btw, if your fender is really messed up you would be better off buying a used one in better condition.

thing is, the fender looks fine except where its rubbing.... which is why i thought it was the door.. but the door seems very tight and in place.. so IDK..
