So seeing as the only thing that really came with an sr in America was the sentra ser (as far as I know anyway) when you go to the parts store for say something like gaskets or things of that nature what do you tell the parts guy to look up?

In the tech section, there is a thread about USA-JDM parts cross reference. Search for it.

the search botton, and not all parts transfer from the fwd to the rwd sr i know on here somewhere there is a master list of everything can be used on the sr and from what car it came on.

I know I know search, I can only get on the site from my phone and the search function on tapatalk isn't the greatest thing in the world. And no not from the dealer like if you were going to autozone. Thanks for that FAQ btw^

so if im correct you're trying to buy the parts for the sentra but its actually going to be used for a S13/14 SR

Don't go to autozone...
But yeah B13 se-r will get you most things...

I don't actually need anything right now, I was just at a pep boys before getting headlight bulbs and I started wondering how to get replacement parts since the system probably wouldn't even have an sr20det in it. But yeah I figured the easiest way would be to get stuff for a sentra ser, but thank you to all the helpful responses I now see that a whole bunch of parts are interchangeable from a lot of different engines.
