Subframe Bushings + Subframe Collars?

Hey guys,
I'm just double checking, but it doesn't make any sense to have both right?

As far as I understand it, the collars "raise" the subframe to pick up the anti-squat slack from the old oem rubber or your poly urethane bushings.
So it wouldn't make sense to use both right?

Bushings replace the rubber stocks ones, the Collars are just a metal piece between the sub-frame and the rubber bushings. So you would want to run one or the other.

if in the process of wanting to do either or, just get solid bushings and call it a day

^^ i concur. collars are made to help the stock bushings. if you can get 150 just get soilds then. SPL and Stance are good but need to be pressed in. most if not all the rest use epoxy to hold them in. Solids should raise your subframe about 1/2 inch too. all the noise people talk about solids are rare. most of the time the noise happens when you do solids diff mount too.

subframe collars are a temporary fix for old worn out bushings, they work by compressing the bushing to take up the slack.

after a while the bushing will deteriorate to the point where the collars don't take up enough slack (where i'm at now).

i agree with bushido, mine are down to where i need to replace them completely.

getting the DIF subframe bushings and diff bushings. Not concerned about noise .
