so i need to replace 2 of my rod ends but i cant really find what im looking for, i found some at DWTM-14: DWTM - Midwest Control Products Corp. (http://www.midwestcontrol.com/part.php?id=3001) but the static load is only 7000 would this be enough? they will be used for the rear upper control arm. the thread i need is M14 X 2.00. i called them and the guy had recommended chromemoly but they dont have any with 2.00 pitch. any links would be great thanks!

An Aurora rod end in the same size has about a 8,000lb static load capacity, at least for their general purpose rod end. The high strength ones are about 16,000lb load capacity. I'm not sure which ones are typically used though.

Question is what is the bare minimum static weight recommended? I know if I'm in the 17k range I'll be more than fine.
