Hey guys,
Over the past few weeks I've been researching tires and I guess I just don't get it when it comes to picking the best tire for my setup. Currently I have an s13 with an rb25 pushing 350-400 rwhp and my tires are worn to crap. Currently I'm running Sportmax rims that are 17x8 in the rear with 245/40/17 BF Goodrich g-force sport. I'm sure brand new these tires were great, but they came with the car, and were already worn in.
Obviously any newer tire will probably do a heck of a lot more, but I'm also curious to know if while I'm shopping for new tires I should also change the size of the tire.
Additionally if anyone can recommend a fair priced brand/model that maybe has a better traction/wear rating as well, it would be very much appreciated.
