Intercooler upgrade Question?

When you add an intercooler to a s14 sr20det what kind of hp increase will you get from it?

none...unless you were out of your efficiency range to begin with. the only way an IC gives you more power is if you get colder air with less pressure loss. if you are only running the stock 7 psi, you will probably see very little gains when going from the SMIC to an FMIC. maybe 5-10 hp. but, if you are pushing 12-15 psi on the SMIC and then you switch to an FMIC, you might very well see an increase of 20 hp.
