unless your gonna run a factory radio, there's no need to use the factory amp.

thats like hooking an amp to an amp
since aftermarket radios have a small amp inside

most people, if not all people bypass the factory amp on their 240s when using a aftermarket radio or you have to use a amplified harness. meaning it will use the factory amp which if hasn't gone bad after 15+ years will probably sound like shit. and you have to have an aftermarket radio with minimum 2 sets of pre-outs (rca's) to get all the speakers to work. IMO totally not worth it.

they have this thing called GOOGLE
can find things like this:
s14 bypass amplifier instructions w/ pics - S-Chassis.com (http://www.s-chassis.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37453)
Bypassing the factory remote mounted amps when installing a stereo into a '95+ SE model (http://www.240sx.org/faq/articles/stereo_bypass_amps.htm)
if you don't understand it then find your way to a local installer

I have a set from a 300zx - which should be the same for a 1995 S14.
