I don't understand why 90% of sr owners think the motor is worthless after they spin a bearing, replace the damn bearings for a couple $20's...

The motor definately is not worthless or i wouldnt be trying to sell it on here. i just dont have the space for another blown motor in my garage - i have more than a few rbs, cas, and srs that all need to be sent to the machine shop, have a few hundred dollars thrown at them, and put back together. Time is the real issue, not everyone has another car they can use while their motor is getting rebuilt or machine shop is backed up. its alot easier option often times to just grab another longblock or even motorset and swap it in the car in a day so you can still get to work the following day.

its because rebuilding is time consuming. it is more practical just to swap another motor instead of rebuilding it. not every sr owners have time, money and place to work on them. some they just want the swap, drive it and boost it.

It would seem that buying another motor and shit would cost more than replacing some rod bearings haha. But I understand the time issue.
