So I've searched so many forums, websites , spend my time searching instead of doing hw lol.... So here is the deal , i bought the car from a homie , its a 1991 s13 ka24de , the car used to be turbo but the previous owner sold the turbo kit... so basically the engine has no emissions and the butterflies removed from the intake manifold , has a walbro fuel pump ,z32 fuel filter...it took us forever to start the car .. we changed the rotor, cap, spark plugs and cables, cts, coil, we changed the connector for the cts because it was so corroded , and alternator(sr20 alternator) idk if this might be the problem, has brand new battery ,also changed the coil from a spare one he had.... took the fuel rail off to see if any injectors were leaking... took out the screw on iacv and cleaned it with throttle cleaner....
so when we got it running the car would idle at 900 and start but not normal... we had to gas it right when the rpms when up or else the car would flood... i was like whatever as long as the car starts:giveshttp://icandy.zilvia.net/img/smilies/gives.gif:....but then after a while of using it would be harder for the car to start and kept flooding.... until i could no longer start the car..... also the rpms would also drop when i turned on the headlights and heater and stalled out.... the thing is we could PUSH START the car but not turn it on with the key and it does crank ...also when we push start it the car no longer idles .....
Also when we do start the car , it runs good, it doesn't run rich or to lean,
BTW the dizzy on the car is turned all the way to the left ..we know thats not normal but it was the only way to start the car when got it running and time it right 20 to degrees.....
So here are some questions too.. when you put the dizzy in do you align it outside the car with the groves or do you align the groves while the dizzy is in the engine? every time i look it up people say both things on the same thread
The way the dizzy is right now all the way turned to the left .... Which way should we skip a tooth so it could be in the middle?
Clockwise or Counter Clock wise ....
Me and my friend are stumped on what to do......
thanks in advance
