Well, unless you live in Japan or somewhere else overseas, good luck finding skyline parts in the junkyard. I would say go with 300zx parts. If you have to ask, then go the tried and true route. When you have questions, plenty of people can help you out who have done them already. The 300zx brakes are MORE than enough to haul your 240 back down to speed.

well im from the philippines and we have alot of japanese surplus importer here (its not really a junkyard) and you can even order a whole frontclip r33 skyline but will cost around 3k up to 4k .
back to brake upgrade my only problem is the technical knowhow, will the skyline brakes a direct bolt on? can i still used the same stock brakelines? and if ever i upgrade my brakelines will the fittings be the same?
maybe ill go for 300zx if these question are left unanswered............
i assume that the 300zx ones are cheaper because they dont make the car now and there are more z's than skylines in the junkyard. lol

The 300zx brakes will not work with your stock brake lines, but you'd probably want to upgrade those at the same time.
You could get them from pdm racing, and get new calipers, lines, and better rotors:

But if its more cost effective to get them locally, then go that route, but the brake lines will not match up.
