So i recently blew up my s14 sr, haha. I was thinkin bout buyin the s15 motor then sellin the tranny. I will reuse my 5 spd on my s14.
Any issues with the wiring or anything I should know about?
Should i just get another 14 sr?

S15 sr has no ignitor, so that plug can be deleted. I'm unsure about whether the ecu plugs directly in the harness, I used a s14 sr WC ecu. Hope this helps a bit

S14 SR is basicaly the same and very little difference betwwen the two besides bolt ons. The S14 harness has a different pin out on the ECU.
Differences are Valve cover bolts, turbo intenals, injectors, and ECU pinout.
I purchassed a S14 SR because upgrades that made it pointless to spend the extra cash on a S15 SR.

Why worry about harnesses, ignitors and others. Your already have a full working S14 SR Setup minus the blown motor. Pull the S14 SR longblock and Drop the S15 Motor and re-connect all of the S14 SR connections and S14 SR Coilpacks and Injectors. Done!

You only have to deal with pinouts if your trying to plug an S14 SR Harness to an S15 ECU or Vice Versa. Most S15 SR Swap guys I've seen prefer to run S14 SR Wiring and ECU just because of availability of parts. Specially the coilpacks and ecu. There's no gain trying to keep an S15 ECU and Harness. S14 ECU you will be able to run Nistune and others as suppose to an S15. GL!
