does that crack make the lights not able to hold the grill

The grill will still be held by the lights, but only supported by 3-points. It should not be a big issue, since the grill is almost weightless. One thing you can do is to drill a small hole next to that crack and then zip-tie the grill, or tie the grill somewhere other than the headlights, or use duck tape.
