In the last year I've owned a handful of decent HP cars (my stock daily drivers are 300hp Acura RL and 300+hp FX45, also recently: nsx, built 2jzgte sc300 and others)...

I just bought a gutted out s14 and it feels surprisingly quick. its a 95. no sunroof, interior completely gutted (all that is left is dash, partial door panels, corbeau driver seat and roll cage). no ac. fairly light 17" wheels. almost all aftermarket suspension (much lighter than stock). lsd. fiberglass hood, fenders and bumpers. the motor is a stock ka24de with straight pipe and exhaust...

any one wanna take a stab at what my 1/4 mile might be? i know i'm not running low 8s yet, lol, but 14s maybe? feels pretty decent.

depends how fat the driver is.

or better yet, why not just take it to the local strip and find out?

I ran a 14.9 with my old s14, full interior, ka24de full bolt ons, and crappy tires.

and with maybe 300-400 lbs of weight off the car (that's 10-15% of the weight off the car) low 14s should be pretty reasonable.

i don't really care about 1/4 mile times (not a drag car), just trying to get an idea of how quick the car is, as is.

just finished suspension and alignment, next is motor... not sure if i want rb25, ka-t or SR.
