well guys i have spent the last month swapiing a Red top sr into my S14, i did everything my self, wiring, intercooler piping, auto to manual swap, everything. This past saturday i put fluids in it disconected the ignitor turned it a few times to raise oil pressure, plugged back in the ignitor and low and behold it started right up on the first turn. Great right, well i couldnt help myself to think that this was to easy but anyway it ran and ran well there is a picture posted.

Well 52 hours later im stoped at an intersection minding my owm buiseness when this guy is turning on to the road im on, from the road im about to cross and as he is making his left turn a tractor trailor t bones his car and his car spins and hits mine. there is a picture posted.

The damage is not that bad but the problem is my luck as the title of the post says , can you guess it ..................... no insurance. so i once again take it up up tha @ss dry. lol, the funny thing is m not really that mad as i have come to expect this sort of thing from life.

sorry for the long post i just wanted to vent and show off my new and messed up sh*t.

shouldn't the other guy's insurance cover it since it is not your fault?

Well, at least the damage is minor. Shouldn't cost you more than a few bones to pick up some body panels and put it back together.

Next step:

Get collision coverage ;)

oh.. i was expecting to see a totaled car.. or maybe seriously damaged. you got lucky (well, as lucky a you can when you're hit by an uninsured motorist)

i agree with ^^^

i was expecting to see sr bits flung all over the place. you just got a semi minor fender bender and stuffs. thank god your SR isn't touched! imagine if ur car was totalled? you lose the $$$ for the SR and the car. that would be a big ouch... :X

well i know it is not that big a deal but its just frustrating after all that work i thought it was over but now i have to start over on the body which was previosly perfect never been hit ( which was the reason i purchased the car) good thing i work at a junkyard huh?

Well is good that you are okay. Accidents can be a pain but least you can put her back together. Maybe now its time for some wide fenders????:D

If he was hit by a semi, they might be willing to pay up and not be sued by you.

yeah i def. try and attack the semi driver. it doesnt seem to be the guy who hit you fault. they might pay out. just tell them you spoke to your attorney and that you'd like a nuymber that he can reach them @.
they'll shit the money out faster than you can believe. i hate threatening to sue. but my mom had to do it once b/c some uninsured motorist hit her a couple years back, and it was almost the same situation as yours.

i imagine a semi company would be quick to make people happy. the last thing a shipping company would want is a reputation as unsafe.

let this be a lesson to all of us... get liability+uninsured motorists+vandalism ;)
