i swaped in an rb25 series 1 into an s13. i replaced the clutch/pressure plate with an 300zx na and a new rb slave cylinder before swapping it. got the clutch set from a friend, matched up fine and read it would work. bled the system, fired it up and nothing. adjusted the pedal and actually helped for about 2 weeks, pedal was stiffer than before. it would go into all gears, but needed force. then one day, tired to put it into gear and would not go. replaced the clutch master with an autozone one to see if it was the problem, bled the system and nothing. the pedal still feels soft. just dont know what happened. i tired looking for threads and couldnt find anything similar to my problem. any help would be appreciated!

they are a real bitch to bleed i would say its still that it took me like 45 min to get the air out of the slave cyl in my r33.

Do you still have the factory clutch damper? If so that might be your problem, they are known to retain air and take a lot of work to get all the air out.

Yes it does go into gear with engine off.
Damper box was removed a while ago.
Are 300zx n/a and rb25 pressure plates the same? I know the clutch disc are.

figured it out, it was the throwout bearing. but 300 zx n/a clutch, pressure plate, and throwout bearing works.
