Not 240 question

ok, I want a project car.  I have already asked you guys about like an 89 or 90 240 Coupe, can't find one that is cheap enough, and if it is cheap, then I'm talking serious cash flow into it, it needs body work, no engine (any of it) etc, and right now, I don't exactly have my money in a current flow!  SO, another question for a few of ya'lls, 86 300 ZX Turbo, or 89 Toyota Supra Turbo?  want the 300 because of stiffer chassis, already know where to get it, etc.  want Supra because straight 6, more power easier, etc.  which would you choose if you had the choice?  I might ask my dad if I can hook it up with his Z and use it as a project car, but, there's one problem, there's no where to store the #### thing!! so i'm going to have to talk to him whenever he gets back in town about emptying out his garage, and I mean emptying that summamabitch!  any opinions, pro's and con's, etc would be highly appreciated for this drastic choice!  thanks ahead of time

id go with the z because since the release of f&f every time you talk about cars someone says supra!, it now the "in" thing to talk about.  nissan z's are a less noticed car which i like alot.  the hp can be doubled to 600 from what i hear and you wont need to do internals which is a BIG plus.  supra is a very popular car so that alone turns me off.  good luck with your dad cleaning his garage out!

i would go with the supra, basically because i ahve a friend who has a 300zx and my bro ownes and supra. both early models liek the ones u are looking at. i dpont knwo where u live but i live in australia and over here they are both very cheap. which dont get me wrong it a good thing u can pick up supra's for @#$% alll. my brothers was aus$4000 and he got full electrics, keyless entry, new paint (nice blue too.) and 17" on his.

its a very nice car.
the 300 my friend has is very nice also its a tagra top cost a little more but stick to the road liek a @#$%ing biatttch.

both cars run well. we have put them up against each other and it was really close.

u ask me and i woudl point u staight towards the supra its old but ok it looks mad no one can tell its a supra. dosnt look n e thing liek the new style that everyone is so sick of seeing.

the choice is yours man.
but they are both really good cars which with turbos could do alot of damage to the fellow skin heads ego. there both good base for a project.

it really just comes down to looks.

For an old car the Supra is way better looking than the classic 300zx.  Classic 3Z is second to none for ugliness!!  Older Zs however are another story... want one of those??
