Hey Guys, I've been a member for a little while now and I decided to do a build thread . Insurance in Canada is getting real hard to find now for RHD cars and their is only 1 car in Ontario that will so I am lucky enough that they are grandfathering myself even though they stopped insuring RHD cars, so I decided not to sell.

This is my 1992 Nissan Skyline GTST. bought it , thought it was pretty much stock besides the obvious stuff like

Front Mount
apexi super flow filter
3" full exhaust

the stuff I didn't realize the car had was
-Mines Ecu Tune
-T3 Garrett Turbo
- Hicas Delete

Car: 1992 Nissan Skyline GTST R32

Since then I have done some work to it adding some more goodies and since my Garrett took a crap I bought a brand new Precision 3231E turbo good for around 500hp.
The car makes Power: 251whp at:11.6psi , the stock injectors are limited and run 89% at 11.6psi , am installing 750cc Deatschwerks soon.

Engine: RB20DET with a custom stock exhaust manifold fitted witha 38mm wastegate flange thanks to PF Performance<Repped

Engine Mods:Tial BOV,Tial Wastegate, Precision 55mm

Drivetrain: 2 way Nismo, Twin plate clutch

Electronics: Blitz Turbo Timer, Blitz Electronic Boost Controller, STRi gauges(boost, water, oil pres)

Suspension:Tein Coil Overs, JIC Majic Coil Overs

Brakes/Wheels/Tires: 18x10.5 XXR 526 +5 , 18x9 XXR 526 +20 .

Old Wheels: 17x9.5 +15 Rota Grids

Exterior:
Had a gready bumper so switched to a custom type M
Type M Spats, Custom Type M Front bumper, N1 style side skirts
Custom Nissan Brickyard Red Paint AX8

New Side Skirts coming: Stock GTST Type M

Interior: Stock Seats, B pillar back Roll Cage, Pioneer deck

The Plan
---------------------------------------------------
Deatschwerks 750cc's
Custom Front Facing Intake Manifold
New Skirts
Camber kit

I could swear that there was a rolling shell of a yellow Skyline that was for sale a while ago (on GTR Canada). The seller was trying to sell it for a while, though this was a WHILE ago.

Insurance is not hard to find. My friend was able to insure his GTR33 in no time. I guess it depends on your age, coverage and what other types of insurance you have under your account.

Anyways, nice work my man!

Not this car I bought it 5 days after import. Also insurance is so hard to find . As of Nov 20,2011 ins companies here can deny cars.. 1 company insure rhd cars in Ontario and its lant insurance.. U have to have a full G license for min 10 years and u cannot drive it daily.. I got insured before my deadline with another company so they aren't dropping me ... Looking nice. I'd recommend running different injectors though. I'd go with Injector Dynamics or Tomei/HKS/etc. injectors before running the Deatschwerks. Seems like many tuners do not like Deatschwerks bc of latency and spray pattern issues.

It's getting harder for insurance but it can still be done (Seen your post over on SONS by the way). For the most part, you have to be 25+ years of age (For some companies) or have the 10 years with G license to not get raked over the coals.

I've had my G for 10 years, I'm over 25, so I'm good. It's tough for the young bucks though...

My friend who insured his R33 is with State Farm (he has home/car insurance through them).

Anyways, any plans for this during the snow season?

Ya State Farm will you just need a normal car insured with them first or house ins for at least 6 months before the RHD. And ya this winter includes:

750cc Deatschwerks
300LPH Fuel Pump
Front Facing Intake Manifold
my new wheels (got today) 18x10.5 +5 , 18x9+25
Type M Side Skirts

I am a registered dealer of Deatschwerks and I stand behind them 100%. I have many buddies running Deats and have never had a problem.
Thanks for the advice though

Wow I guess having government owned insurance is kinda good for something, I have never had an issue insuring a RHD car, you just go to the insurance place and insure it.

ya out west and east is pie walk. You can go through Facility(gov owned) here in ontario, but its ridiculous, they want NO LIE $950/month and they want 1/2 paid up front. and cant suspend during winter. Right now I'm paying $119/Month so they can blow me ! lol

Honestly it pulls quite decently, it doesn't pull like the T3 I have on it before obviously since its a big turbo. It has its lag but all in all I'm happy with it. If I break boost the power is there a lot more then before. I'm only running 11.6 PSI right now cuz my injectors were maxed duty cycle at 89% so once I get my new 750cc's they will be good for the 350-400whp I hope to hit. I'll be happy it I hit 350whp on the setup I have now, I'd be surprised if I didn't but we will see.

I have heard of guys running 400+whp all day on stock RB20's with fuel and a bigger turbo so :)

Ya man new paint is like the best feeling in the world, especially when its a complete colour change. I honestly hated the yellow so couldn't be happier when it got painted!.

Brickyard Red FTW!

Ok, So I got a tire from my buddy brand new and extremely cheap. it's a Nexen N3000. Just going to use it as a spare and for test fitting.

so specs are 18x10.5 +20 235/40/18, They're stretched but not extremely stretched , hopefully enough to clear my fenders with another light roll. Anyways The fronts I have decided to run a 225/40/18 on the 18x9's

OK SO! My buddy who owns a fab shop just sent me pics of my new Intake manifold he is custom making for my RB since barely anyone makes them for the RB20 on the 25. So he is making me a custom one that he sells for around $650 CDN if anyone wants one.
