need help with question about sr20 tranny

ok im getting an sr20det with automatic transmission, the guy told me that the reason its automatic is because automatic can handle more boost, the car is a manual. Do i need to do a automatic - manual conversion to make this work? and how much would that cost and what is the time involved? please help i need a quick response... 1 more question wuold the sr20det be able to bolt on and work with the ka24 tranny since its manual?

The reason its auto is the same reason my dick is big, it came like that, damn sale pitches... just wait for clip with a 5 speed trans. Unless it's a really great deal .. then buy it and find a sr 5 spd tranbs.

i just talked to him again, he said if u put a 5 speed flywheel on instead of a automatic flywheel, it will work like a 5 speed, is he lying?

well i dont have the car yet here is the deal so u guys know what i was planning on doing. Car is a 95 240sx se, manual, 97 front end conversion, full bomex body kit, carbon fiber hood, royal sapphire blue paint job(supra) racing hart c2 18"rims, some suspension work dont remmber what. Car has 90k on it, good shape, clean carfax. Has the stock ka24 motor installed, but it comes with the sr20det with the automatic transmission. All that for 8 grand, seems like a really good deal, he said he bought the motor for 1200 and it does not include the ecu, so if i buy id have to get a new tranny and ecu, or just sell the whole motor but i dont know if anyone will buy a sr20det automatic. So thats the whole deal just to let u guys know

if the car is nice, get the car. i wouldnt get the engine from him though or the wheels. so just subtract the engine and wheel price then low ball his bitch ass. hahaha:p
