Based on the action packed James Bond movie "The world is not enough" released in 1999 (actually it is not in any possible way even remotely related)... we bring you....
3 DEGREES, IS NOT ENOUGH :D
This is not for the weak hearted, or the weak bandwidthed......
This deadly car was finally acquired and stored safely in the panda garage facilities...out of harms way from the evil member known to us zilvians as knight rider.
http://home.earthlink.net/~stofer007/3deg/safe.jpg
UNTIL TODAY.... :eek: where this evil man and his once again kidnapped the car for further evil research.
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
The car was brought to a top secret military base (where the even more evil mrmephistopheles destroyed a s13 coupe)..
:axe:
Meanwhile, a set of Enkei mesh wheels were reported missing from coolerow's highly secured facilities.
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
At the top secret military base coolerow's wheels were fused to the car......... WITH 16mm spacers in the front..... and as spy photos show this man is mentally unstable.

The deadly machine was reactivated and ready for testing..
After 1 right hand turn and 5 feet of rigorous testing... we have concluded that the project was impossible. Next objective is to acquire wide fenders.
:doh::
project failed.. -16 offset on a 7" will not work on stock fenders.
the evil knightrider lost his temper as he was forced to use 0 offset wheels for the front...

TO BE CONTINUED...
until then BEWARE.. send your children inside!
The car is on the loose, programmed to tear it up at the next drift day....
now open to criticisms of this dumb AND cheezy series...

shut up cisco and suarez, he only has 16mm spacers..
ahem (note the sarcasm of the post)...
knightrider will not settle for anything less than -16!
edit..
:doh: !....
hehe -4 deg camber.. yea.. working on that. kinda hard to achieve safely with shocks/springs for now.. (think the plates are maxed out... not sure)...
uhh in the works.. more camber... and thinner sidewall.. hehe.
Knightrider's evil corporation needs to sell more drugs to obtain more funds

...silly boy, go for less than -16, Aaron's suggestion is good. You are right that it is maxing out what is there in terms of suspension however...

Is it just me, or are some people taking the whole low offset/super negative camber thing too far?
Oh wait, I just got some 9" +15 wheels, haha.
but.... i dont see what's so wrong with just running 0 offset... man, -16 is just nuts. Do you plan on running -16 on the rears in the future too? I never understood the wide front track thing? What's the benefit? Bragging rights?

Seriously, what was the point? Are you just trying to get a feel for offsets or something cuz that's cool but 0 offset looks good on stock fenders from what I've seen.

-16??? you guys are nuts! You need mo lowa, mo camba! :p
Just run with the 0 offset for now, it looks fine.
The lips on your rims are deeper than mine! I hate you. :D

well I don't know what my friend's reason is, I just posted the pictured for him..
I myself notice that the wider track gives me much better stability when taking the car through a corner (and yes sliding it too).
From a drifter's perpective.. I'll let Dousan handle that..
Try, a car with the same width rims/ tire.. lets say one with a +35 offset and one with +10 or zero offset.
as for the spacers, it was obtained for free, along with longer studs, and they bring out the wheel enough to sit flush with the wide fenders he has on file. (the fenders came before wheels actually.... the existing fenders are really messed up).
If you also notice. with the 16mm spacers, the front wheels lines up with the rear..
My opinion is its partially for looks, partially for function.
yes it looks cool and it does help.
I mean, why does JDM RICE car have work wheels that are 9/11 inches wide with negative offsets? go figure.
the spacers were in the pictures only, there are no spacers on the car as of now.

Lower offsets do feel better, went from +40 to +15, feels a lot better in playful driving, but I guess the the Falken Azenis have a lot to do with that.

Lower offset wheels do make the car handle better, negative offset wheels put more stress of your wheel bearings.. that's about the only down side.

well guys, since my cars the center of the conversation, i might as well throw in my .02 . i already had the 16 mm spacers on the car from the advans, so i jus threw on the enkeis jus to see what -16 offset would look like, kinda like my own demon cambers without as big a lip, ill prolly run em with a 10 mm spacer for -10 offset once i get my 20mm over fenders in from speed alliance. depending on how i want it to look. havnt decided. i need some adj. upper control arms now for the rears, to stop em from rubbing. and yes, the reason for the wider track is cuz its great for cornering. the last picture of me kicking my pos fenders, is the wheels at 0 offset, thats how they are right now, no spacers, you guys happy now. stop crying :cry: :D
