im installing a new master and slave cylinder for the the clutch and ive run into some problems. i got them both installed correctly, and i went to bleed the system. fluid passed through, but i got no improvement in clutch action. there is still hardly any resistance in pushing the pedal down, and there is no return action, i have to lift it with my foot each time. also, when the clutch is pressed, there is either no action or hardly any action at the slave. Ive bled it fully and there is no air left in the lines. so im thinking either a bad slave, or im doing something wrong. any ideas? thanks

remember to bleed the dampener box, the line from the slave cyl should lead to a distibution block with some hard lines coming out of it, there you will find a 10mm bleeder screw, bleed that a few times

Now that you know that you should remove the clutch damper....check out this thread (http://sr20.hybrids.jp/installations/clutchbox/). That's what I used to guide me through the removal. Bleeding the clutch after that was a breeze.

definetly get rid of the distribution block. The same thing happened to me, once i got rid of it...instant clutch pressure. However, be very very careful not to kink the hard line..other wise u'll end up with more headaches..just bend slowly..u'll be fine. Hope everything turns out good for you..good luck.
