First off, thank you everyone for making 2011 an awesome season! We had some amazing fan participation, and some amazing driver participation. We got to see Chelsea Denofa win the season and get his Formula D license, and raise enough sponsorship to run a full season of Formula D this year. No matter how much we all think we put into drifting, I don't think there is anyone around this area that puts as much time and effort into drifting as that man, it is his full time job. The calibre of car and driver got really high over 2011 as well, with some cars we all see as normal now being pro calibre just a few years ago. Take for example Stew's car, or Chelsea's car, or Will's car. There a bunch of others as well, but those really stand out in my mind. And I think this year we will see some more really aggressive stuff happen around here. Aaren Smith's Mustang is getting a lot of tube work done to it, and a lot of weight pulled out of it. Stew is part of the ASD Mob program, and with their direction and help I think he is going to do some amazing stuff with his car this year. So basically I am really excited for 2012 here in Texas, I think the level of drifting is going to get raised a good bit by the end of the year.
So, for 2012 we are going to be doing a full season again. We will be hosting both local practice days and the full blow points series days, going to Mineral Wells, Gulf Greyhound Park, and Texas Motor Speedway with a few other venues scattered between. We will have lots of prize money again, great fans, great drivers.
